Dear President Bradley:

Congratulations to Vassar College on being named one of the 2017-18 Fulbright program “top producers” as announced earlier this year. This achievement is a testament to your institution’s deep commitment to international exchange and to cultivating stronger relationships between the United States and the more than 160 countries that take part in the Fulbright program.

Since the Fulbright program’s inception in 1946, more than 380,000 Fulbrighters from the United States and abroad—competitively chosen for their academic merit and leadership qualities—have exchanged cultures and ideas, and contributed to finding solutions to shared global concerns. Fulbright alumni have achieved distinction in business, science, the arts, philanthropy, education, government, and many other fields, and help make our nation and our world more prosperous and secure.

Vassar College’s place among the Fulbright program’s top producing institutions clearly demonstrates your dedication to preparing Americans for today’s interconnected world and dynamic global economy. I hope you will let us know if there are further ways we can help you to support Fulbright or other State Department-sponsored exchange programs on your campus.

Sincerely,

Marie Royce
Assistant Secretary of State
Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs
