Founder’s Giving Day
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 2, is Founder’s Giving Day at Vassar.
We have a group of alumnae/i who have challenged the college. If at least 2,000 donors make gifts to Vassar in 24 hours, we will unlock a matching gift of $200,000!
Gifts of any size from faculty, administrators, staff, and students most definitely count towards our reaching this goal.
Also, for seniors: If 25 of you make a donation of any size to your class gift on Founder’s Giving Day, Trustee Brian Farkas ’10 will give an additional $1,000 to the Class of 2019 Scholarship Fund.
Everyone is welcome to stop by a table in College Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow to learn more about Founder’s Giving Day as well as the Senior Class Gift Challenge. You can make your donation on the spot (rumor has it there will also be cookies).
The money we raise from efforts like Founder’s Giving Day helps to make the entire Vassar experience possible. I hope that you will join John and me in making a gift, of any size, to Vassar tomorrow. It’s easy to do; just go to vassar.edu/foundersgivingday.
