Admitted Student Open Houses

Dear all,

I am writing to remind you about a special event taking place on campus this week: Admitted Student Open Houses!  This Thursday (April 11th) and Sunday (April 14th) we will welcome admitted students and their families to campus to learn more about Vassar and encourage them to join the Vassar community.

I want to thank Art Rodriguez (Dean of Admission and Financial Aid) and his team for working hard over the last few months to review and admit the incredible group of diverse and highly talented students who will visit campus tomorrow and Sunday.

As we welcome these prospective students and their families to campus, I want to invite each of you (faculty, staff, and administrators) to join me in making our guests feel like the Vassar community is one they would be excited to join. Our Communications and Admissions departments have designed some fun stickers for our community members to wear so that everyone can participate in Admitted Student Open Houses. I will wear one (or more!) of these stickers tomorrow and welcome you to do the same.

If you are interested in wearing one of these stickers to help welcome our prospective students and families, please feel free to pick one up at the Campus Activities Desk, Communications Office, Dean of the College Office, Dean of Faculty Office or the President’s Office. For employees in Gordon Commons or Facilities, your supervisor will have stickers available at your work site.

Thank you all for creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive community not only for our guests but also for each other.

See you around,

Elizabeth H. Bradley, President
